How the Stop-Spam Filter Works Print

  • 0

When someone sends an email to your domain, the message first passes through the Central VA Net Stop-Spam Filter, where it’s analyzed and categorized.

Process Flow:

  1. The message is sent to your domain (e.g., user@yourdomain.com).

  2. It first routes through the Stop-Spam servers.

  3. The message is scanned for:

    • Spam patterns and sender reputation

    • Viruses and dangerous attachments

    • SPF, DKIM, and DNS blacklist checks

  4. If clean → it’s delivered to your mail server.

  5. If suspicious → it’s quarantined for review.
